"Provide detailed pictures of collectible fishing reels as a reference for other collectors to validate items they own, want to purchase, want to sell, or offer advice to others."
I'd like to share pictures of the reels I have collected over the years. Many reels are ones presently in my collection and many have come and gone as my collecting gets more specific to certain manufacturers and my interests change. A few are rare, most are old, some are commonplace, but all are intriguing in their own way.
In my presentation of the reels, I am going to separate them, first by freshwater or saltwater use, and then by manufacturer.
I welcome any comments relative to the accuracy of my descriptions of the reels. And, I am always looking to add reels to my collection, so feel free to contact me if you have some reels you are interested in selling or trading. And, feel free to ask me any questions via my contact page you might have about old reels, reel values, "what the heck is this reel", etc.
I want to thank the fine members of the Old Reel Collectors Association, http://orcaonline.org, the Vintage Penn Reel group on Facebook, and alantani.com and many others for their constant availability and support.
